I've had the privilege working with clients as a trainer for over two decades! Obtaining extensive knowledge in the field of fitness is a passion of mine that I strive to improve everyday. My desire, dedication, and determination to continuously grow as a coach, offers my clients extensive knowledge and variety in their training. I have worked with a wide range of ages and clients experiencing serious conditions such as Arthritis, Cancer, Fibromyalgia, Frozen shoulder, Impingements, Herniated Discs, preparing/recovering from surgery or rehabbing an injury. I am currently working with Medical Doctors, Physiotherapists, Massage Therapists, Chiropractic Clinics and other experts to aid my clients after serious injuries and traumas. I struggled for years to find direction in the gym and could never quite get the results I was hoping for. I grew up playing various sports including soccer, basketball, touch football and rugby league. After sustaining too many injuries in contact sports, my passion for fitness lead me more into the gym. I decided to focus on weight training which eventually lead me into bodybuilding. I started competing in Bodybuilding Shows and eventually took home a 1st place in Men’s Physique! I am currently learning more on improving mobility, injury prevention as well as completing my certification as a Orthopedic Exercise Specialist. Growing up you could find me on any sports team or activity that involved fitness but Track & Field and Basketball is where I shined! Taking home some 1st place victory’s in both, sports were a huge part of my life! I then became a mom at the age of 19 and my lifestyle habits changed. I decided I needed to get a career, enrolling in Law School where I later graduated as an honour student. Throughout Law School, the numerous hours spent sitting and no time in the gym, I started to develop unbearable sciatica & back pain. Recently after graduating, I got in a very serious car accident that resulted in injuries so bad I was unable to walk or get out of bed. I started to see a Chiropractor, Physiotherapist & Personal Trainer which re sparked my love for fitness. I went through a complete transformation both physical and mental and I never looked back! I received my certification in Personal Training as well as various Rehab certifications. My journey has not been easy and I understand the hardships of being in pain on a daily basis. To me there is no better feeling in the world than inspiring people to transform their life, live healthier & be pain free! I am an Athletic Coach, Yoga Teacher and Spin Instructor here at World Gym Plus 15. Fitness wasn’t always a passion of mine. After having my 2 kids I decided to make a lifestyle change which soon lead me to a new love of CrossFit & Zumba! After participating in various classes & receiving some coaching for Olympic Lifting, I decided that I wanted to jump into teaching myself and become certified. Now I LOVE being active and couldn’t image my day without some form of movement in in. I am currently taking 2 new certifications to increase my knowledge as a Personal Trainer and learning more about the mental aspect of fitness, lifestyle & well being. Prior to June 2017, I had never set foot in a gym in my life. I had been struggling with weight issues since the mid-1990’s. Minoo did my initial assessment and by the end of July, I was ready to commit and started training with Minoo. We spent the next 3 months focusing on mobility and flexibility issues as well as improving my strength. Within 8 months, I had dropped 25 pounds of fat and gained over 5 pounds of muscle mass! By that time, I committed to working out 5 days per week under the guidance of Minoo and we switched the focus of my program to building muscle mass. From that point, there has been no turning back and I couldn’t be happier with the results so far. I could not have done this without the careful guidance of my wonderful coach, Minoo. The day I met Jairo, I was going to quit the gym. I was unmotivated, too shy to workout and in a lot of pain. For the past forty years I had forgotten about myself. I had neglected my health and kept putting on weight, each year I felt worse than the last. Jairo promised me on that day, that if I could give him 36 sessions, only 36 hours, then I would see a big change. So I decided to stop forgetting about myself and put my effort into my goals and dreams. Aline ensures you understand and are able to perform the exercises with proper form, allowing you to feel comfortable exercising on your own and without injury.
